Musical Influences?

Shy Girls, Drake, PartyNextDoor, the Weeknd, Jon Waltz, Gesaffelstein, Sam Gellaitry, BB Brunes, Kyan. Any music you can call "broody" is what I'm into.

What are you involved in at Brown?

I direct the Bear Necessities. That's my main commitment.

How do you spend most of your time?

I spend most of my time working on projects, practicing piano, and fooling around with my production tools. I try and fit some FIFA 15 in here and that I'm 21, maybe more long nights at the GCB will become the norm haha.

Describe what your life is like at home?

Home life is home, comforting, but also confining. More the place rather than my family. But home is a great place for self reflection, and a nice reminder from whence you came. Its a fun, confusing, and reflective place for me. I love my fam always, and my extended family/friends for life.

What are your dreams for the future?

I want to end up somewhere where I can create. I realize music is a difficult avenue to pursue, but I hope that down the line I can end up mixing my work and play to have work = play.

Is there anything you want people to know about you?

I just try to be honest with myself about my music and try and be honest in what I make. The songs I make always come from a genuine place or from an emotion that I felt transformed me or affected me in a great way. Its also a projection of where I come from, and being mixed. My identity is an always subtle and ever present motif in my creative endeavors. I usually don't like to open up too much to people, so the music is the means to saying what I can't normally.

Also, I have to give a shoutout to Chantel Whittle, my biggest fan and biggest critic, always pushing me to be better.
